AIIB, World Bank-funded challenge to speculate $1.5 bn in India’s Covid struggle

The challenge has parts coping with emergency Covid-19 response, shoring up the healthcare system and strengthening pandemic analysis.

A challenge financed by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and World Bank will pump in $1.5 billion over the following 4 years to assist India’s healthcare system sort out the Covid-19 pandemic.

The “India COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health System Strengthening Project” will contain a number of parts that purpose to “assist the acceleration and scale up of the GOI response” to the virus, a Health Ministry assertion stated Saturday.

“The challenge will contain the development, enlargement, rehabilitation and/or operation of healthcare services in response to COVID-19 amongst different actions, similar to, procurement of hospital gear, private safety gear (PPE), testing of sufferers,” an in depth doc launched by the ministry states.
