A 40-year-old man allegedly killed his spouse and walked almost Three km to a police station in Banda together with her severed head, officers mentioned on Friday. The accused, Kinnar Yadav, informed police that he suspected that his spouse Vimla, 35, had been having an affair with a neighbour. A video of Kinnar, a farmer, carrying the top surfaced on social media.
Banda ASP Mahendra P Chauhan mentioned, “The incident occurred in Baberu city. Kinnar reached the police station round 8:30 am with the severed head. He additionally attacked the neighbour, Ravikant Yadav (35), who’s underneath remedy at a hospital. His situation is secure.”
Chauhan added, “Some of Kinnar’s neighbours had claimed to him that his spouse was having an affair with Ravikant. He was pissed off over that. On Friday morning, Ravikant was supposed to purchase a buffalo and Vimla known as him (Ravikant) to the home to present him ideas. This angered Kinnar and he first attacked Ravikant with an axe, injuring him, after which Ravikant fled. Kinnar then killed his spouse and severed her head with the identical axe.”
The ASP added, “Kinnar informed us that he wished to kill Ravikant however ended up killing his spouse in a match of rage.”
A case was registered at Baberu police station underneath related IPC sections and the accused could be produced in an area courtroom quickly, mentioned a police officer.
