Joe Biden has mentioned US Donald Trump has “cloaked America in darkness for a lot too lengthy” as he accepted the Democratic White House nomination.
The former US vice-president mentioned his rival has unleashed “an excessive amount of anger, an excessive amount of worry, an excessive amount of division”.
Mr Biden’s speech is the fruits of a political profession spanning practically half a century.
