Biju Janata Dal MLA Pradeep Maharathy died at a non-public hospital right here within the early hours of Sunday, household sources stated.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed deep grief on the demise of Maharathy and described him as a “stalwart” of BJD and a long-time affiliate of Biju Patnaik.
