A Chhattisgarh Police constable was arrested on Saturday and dismissed from his service after an FIR was registered towards him for allegedly assaulting a girl and inflicting burns on her toddler utilizing cigarette butts.

We have arrested the accused and are investigating additional.”
After the FIR was registered, the state DGP ordered that Rai be dismissed from service and fashioned particular groups to arrest him.
