A 20-year-old girl in Dehradun was allegedly raped on Saturday within the Sahaspur police station space on the outskirts of the town.

In the FIR, the girl has alleged that she was on the way in which to her aunt’s place on Saturday night when three unknown males began following her. Later, they intercepted her and took her beneath a close-by bridge.

There, she alleged, two males held her whereas the third raped her. She additionally alleged that the accused who raped her mentioned his title was Shanu, and he lived in Vikas Nagar space. She added that every one the three ran away leaving her beneath the bridge. She reached the police station to lodge a criticism late night.

Dehradun DIG Arun Mohan Joshi mentioned on the premise of her criticism, an FIR has been registered towards three males and investigation has begun. The DIG mentioned the girl’s father has mentioned she was mentally unsound and present process therapy.

According to the police, psychiatrists have been engaged to persuade the girl to present swab samples for medical examination, as earlier, she had denied to present consent to that.
