Amid speculations that senior BJP chief Eknath Khadse could be part of the NCP in a few days, former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday stated there are talks daily of such sort of ‘muhurat’.
Fadnavis, who’s in Osmanabad district to evaluate losses precipitated to farmers as a result of heavy rains, refused to make any additional touch upon the rumours.
Khadse has been sulking since he was made to resign as a minister within the then Fadnavis-led BJP authorities in 2016 on allegations of corruption.
When some reporters claimed there have been speculations that Khadse could take a ‘political choice’ on October 22, Fadnavis stated, “Such sort of muhurat (auspicious time) is being talked about daily and I can’t converse on it.”
On Monday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar stated Khadse was earlier the chief of opposition and performed an enormous position in constructing the BJP within the state.
“He would criticise us and we might be aware of it,” Pawar stated.
“One is sure to really feel disturbed if his contributions and arduous work aren’t taken notice of. He might imagine why shouldn’t he shift to a celebration which appreciates his work,” the NCP chief stated.
