Gaursons chairman’s son held for dishonest Bank of Baroda, Syndicate Bank of Rs 80 Cr: CBI

Rahul Gaur, the son of actual property group Gaursons’ chairman BL Gaur and his spouse Navneet, have been booked by the CBI for allegedly dishonest the Bank of Baroda and the Syndicate Bank to the tune of Rs 80 crore within the title of a high-end residential advanced deliberate by their agency Brys International Private Limited, officers stated on Friday.

The firm had taken a credit score of Rs 250 crore (Rs 150 crore from the Bank of Baroda, Rs 100 crore from the Syndicate Bank) for creating a high-end residential advanced comprising 291 luxurious flats at Sector 150, Noida, they stated.

The Bank of Baroda has alleged in a grievance that Rs 80 crore had been disbursed by the banks, however the challenge was left within the lurch in its preliminary phases, the officers stated.

It is alleged that the preliminary deposits by the consumers ought to have been credited to the escrow account however it was not completed, they added.
