Amid her ongoing tussle with the ruling Shiv Sena, actor Kangana Ranaut met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on Sunday and advised him concerning the “injustice” carried out to her.
The assembly got here days after the Sena-ruled BMC demolished alleged illegal alterations at Kangana’s bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra. Sources at Raj Bhavan described the assembly as a courtesy name.
Following the assembly, which lasted about 45 minutes, the actor advised mediapersons, “I met the Governor, he’s the guardian of this place. I’ve nothing to do with politics and have been mistreated.”
She added, “Governor saheb heard me like his daughter and I imagine I’ll get justice in order that the religion of all residents together with younger women, is restored within the system.”
She later tweeted, “A short time in the past, I met his Excellency the Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji. I defined my viewpoint to him and in addition requested that justice be given to me. It will restore religion of frequent citizen and notably daughters within the system.”
Following her assembly with the Governor, Ranaut additionally mentioned that town (Mumbai) had given her lot and that she hoped that her “combat for justice” will prevail. She is predicted to fly again to her native place in Himachal Pradesh on Monday.

Koshyari on Sunday had denied that he was unhappy with the Thackeray government’s handling of the Ranaut episode, whereas stating that he had nothing to do with it.
