A high-powered committee, appointed by Andhra Pradesh authorities to probe the styrene leak on the LG Polymers manufacturing unit at Visakhapatnam in May that killed 12 folks, has accomplished its probe and can submit its report by June 20, officers mentioned.
Over the final three days, the committee questioned LG Polymers staff and met a number of victims and households, aside from representatives of political events, social and civil activists.
“We had very detailed discussions with technical groups from Indian Institute of Petroleum, NDRF and technical consultants from a number of fields.
