The Ludhiana police registered an FIR towards unidentified safety guards of an upscale society, Omaxe Royal residency on Pakhowal street, for allegedly beating a stray canine to dying.
While the incident occurred on October 6, the canine succumbed to accidents on Thursday.
The FIR was lodged on the assertion of animal lover Sunil Kumar Narula, president of Animal Protection and Welfare Association, of New Lajpat Nagar. On Friday, animal lovers additionally protested exterior the residency constructing.
