The Shiv Sena on Thursday claimed the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s dying was politicised to “malign” the Mumbai Police and the Maharashtra authorities.

If the FIR registered in Patna was proper, then if different “characters” within the case who hail from different states file an FIR in West Bengal, will the Kolkata Police get energy to research it? the Shiv Sena requested.

The Mumbai Police’s probe within the case was within the closing phases when it was stopped and handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on suggestion of the Bihar authorities, the ruling occasion in Maharashtra stated.
