A bus has collided with a practice in Thailand, killing at the very least 17 individuals and injuring dozens extra, officers say.

The crash occurred on Sunday morning, 50km (31 miles) east of Bangkok.

Thai police stated passengers contained in the bus had been on their option to a temple to mark the tip of Buddhist Lent.

Images from the scene present the bus upturned on its aspect, closely broken and objects scattered alongside the practice tracks.

Rescue employees say they want a crane to have the ability to raise the bus.

The dying toll is predicted to rise.

Traffic collisions are frequent in Thailand, with poor security requirements and busy roads considered key elements. A 2018 report from the World Health Organization (WHO) stated Thailand had the second-highest visitors fatality fee on the planet.

In March 2018, at the very least 18 individuals died and dozens wounded when a bus in north jap Thailand swerved off the highway and smashed right into a tree.

At least three individuals had been killed in 2016 when a practice collided with a double-decker bus carrying vacationers at an unguarded railway crossing west of Bangkok.
