Citing a current ruling of the Allahabad High Court which stated non secular conversion for the sake of marriage is unacceptable, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Saturday warned these waging “love jihad” to fix their methods or be ready for his or her final journey — “Ram naam satya hai ki yatra nikalne waali hai”.
Speaking in Malhani (Jaunpur) the place a bye-election can be held for an Assembly seat on November 3, the Chief Minister stated the Allahabad High Court had dominated that non secular conversion for marriage will not be essential. “It shouldn’t be performed, it shouldn’t be accepted or recognised. The authorities too is within the technique of deciding powerful measures to finish love jihad,” he stated.
“Chori chhupe, naam chhupa kar ke jo log behen-betiyon ki izzat ke saath khilwad karte hain, unko pehle se meri chetavani: agar woh sudhre nahi toh Ram naam satya hai ki yatra nikalne waali hai (This is my warning to those that conceal names and play with the honour of sisters and daughters: mend your methods or be ready for the final journey),” he stated.
“We have begun the Mission Shakti programme. It is supposed to ensure safety to every particular person, every sister. If somebody does a improper deed, then Operation Shakti is prepared. Operation Shakti’s goal is to make sure the safety and honour of sisters and daughters,” he stated.
